September 8, 2011-September 11, 2011       -       Alden Water Rescue and ALERT Region 1 swift water agencies were contacted by NYS OFPC at 2:30AM, on Thursday, September 8, 2011 for a mutual aid deployment of four swift water teams to Owego, New York.  Alden Water Rescue Team and ALERT coordinators were deployed and re-routed to Tioga County for numerous water rescues in the town of Waverly, Nichols and Tiogo Center, New York.
